Summer School Theater Production Classes
June 11, 2018 @ 7:45 am - June 29, 2018 @ 12:30 pm

(New in 2018!) Middle School Theater Production: Have you ever wondered what goes into a play, musical, concert or other production? Do you want to see your own creations featured in a live production? In this session, Tracy Bauer (Mishicot High School’s Music Theater Director) and current High School Music Theater students will teach students about set design, scenic art, technical theater, costuming, sewing, and prop making all using hands-on projects utilizing STEM, art, and games. Each project will focus on critical thinking, problem solving, teamwork, resourcefulness, organization, and English Language Arts skills. This will run over the course of two blocks (2 & 3). Students attending both sessions 1 & 2 are strongly encouraged to take it both times in order to learn about all production areas. Grades 5-8
